Visitation Ministry

Lois Kitto When the darkness threatens to overwhelm you; when illness and injury stop you in your tracks, and being homebound means isolation from workship and fellowhip; when you need the presence of your faith community, pastoral care is available. I work with the pastor and other ministry staff to provide caring, comforting presence, and to be the connection between you and your church. Lois Kitto

Each week, a lay person and our pastor visit someone in the congregation with special needs. Maybe someone in a nursing home, or who has had a recent death, or maybe a recent health concern of just a visit to get to know someone more. Sometimes we even get lost – but we’ll never admit to that. Persons interested in participating in this can call the church office.

Pastor Howard Hintzman and Lois Kitto are available by arrangement for personal consultations or home visits if need arises.

The visitation program proved to be a two way street for me. Not only was I doing that which I enjoy, but I got to know Howard better on these little outings.
