Rev.
Howard Hintzman-The Weekly
Message I
sent a note to someone recently that said, “I hope your
thanksgiving is filled with thanksgiving.” I
continue to be grateful for a relationship with God which blesses
me with the knowledge that God loves and accepts unconditionally.
That relationship helps me to be grateful for family who accept me
and love me warts and all. A
God relationship reminds me to be grateful for a community of
faith which loves and accepts me in spite of my faults and
mistakes. I am grateful for a God who wants me to
succeed in life, who is rooting for me, who desires my well-being.
I am even grateful for an extended family who, as they age, have
become more lovable (certainly not I who has changed). I am
grateful for a God who heals my vision of others, who improves my
hearing for the needs of others –especially my family, who gives
me legs to walk towards others with a desire to help.
Thanksgiving for me, is about being grateful for my God
relationship which helps me see all the rest for which I am
grateful. Till next time…h You can reach Pastor Howard
